This is a family entertainer which has been proudly presented on the banner of A.G.S entertainment and which has been outsandingly directed by M. Raja. Jayam Ravi and Genelia plays the role of main actor and actress in this film and Mr. Prakash Raj and Mrs. Geetha plays the main supporting role.

The film is based on the relationship betwwen the father and a son in which the father loves the son more than anything and he gives the son more than what he needs.This becomes a burden for Ravi (Santhosh) who plays the role of son.Every decision in his family has been taken by his father and there is no freedom for his children and wife. But according to the fathers (Prakash Raj) concept he don’t want to give to much responsibilities for his children and advices them for every matter and make decision and give orders to children so that they should follow his decisions.His first son obeys what ever his father says works with him in a construction company.But Ravi doesn’t wish to do so and he wants to start his own company.

Even though Ravi obeys father for every thing. He wants to take self decision for two matters which is very important in his life - one is his job and second is his marriage.But father decides his marriage with the daughter of their family friend and does the engagement with that girl.Ravi was preparing for his family life and at that time he meets Genelia (Hasini) who is the daughter of a middle class man who works in a temple as a manager. She lives her life as her wish and becomes friendly with all the people who surrounds her. She is very talkative and makes all people happy.

They both starts to understand each other ans slowly there starts a love story- By that timePrakash Raj comes to know about his son’s affair and try to stop him but he dosen’t agree and thus she comes to Ravi’s home to stay for one week. But for this one week she understands a lot about Ravi and she leaves him and goes away from his life. Ravi becomes totally upset and finally explodes his every feeling which he has been suppressing fron last 24 years. All his family members supports him and then only Subramaniam realies that how he was putting locks on his son’s life and how his son Santhosh sacrificed his life. At that moment onwards father let his son free and goes to meet Genelia and request her to marry his son.Thus the story ends. . .
